BINHI Post-Test Triumph: Measurable Gains in English Literacy Across 19 Partner Schools

Across the Philippines, too many children advance in school without mastering the most essential skill: reading and comprehension. BINHI English Literacy Foundation, Inc. is changing that.

From February 2 to 13, 2026, BINHI conducted post-test assessments at 19 partner schools as the capstone of our six-month BINHI Learning Program. This intensive evaluation—directly comparing post-test results to pre-tests—measured progress in phonics, fluency, and comprehension for struggling and non-reader scholars.

Why Post-Tests Matter

Post-tests are the heartbeat of BINHI’s approach. Unlike vague progress reports, they provide rigorous, quantifiable data that validates teaching methods, identifies areas for refinement, and builds trust with schools, donors, and partners. By comparing pre- and post-results, we turn abstract growth into concrete evidence—proving structured, evidence-based instruction closes the literacy gap. This transparency fuels sustained impact, empowering teachers and celebrating every scholar’s breakthrough.

The results? Clear improvement across all kits. Here’s a snapshot of average score gains (pre-test to post-test) from this round:
