The Jesus V. Del Rosario Foundation, Inc. (JVRF), the social arm of the Jdel Group of Companies, formalized its renewed partnership with the Binhi English Literacy Foundation, Inc. (BINHI) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on September 18, 2025. This milestone reaffirms JVRF’s enduring commitment to building prosperity and uplifting underprivileged sectors of Philippine society.
The MOA was officially signed by Ms. Kana Manglapus, representing JVRF and its Chairman, Mr. Jaime Del Rosario, and by Ms. Maria Teresa Gallego, Vice President of BINHI, together with Ms. Rosalyn Consing, its Finance Director. The agreement underscores a dynamic collaboration that strengthens both literacy and nutrition programs for public school students, directly reflecting JVRF’s mission to contribute to national development through quality programs and services.
Expanding the Reach of Literacy and Nutrition
For School Year 2025-2026, JVRF’s renewed support paves the way for significant program expansion. The BINHI Learning Program, which provides critical reading intervention for non- and struggling readers, will grow from 6 classes (150 students) in Quezon City and Pasig City to 9 classes serving 224 BINHI Scholars across Cupang Elementary School Main in Muntinlupa City, Ilugin Elementary School and San Joaquin Elementary School, both in Pasig City, and Jose Rizal Memorial School in Calamba, Laguna.
In parallel, the Jesus V. Del Rosario Feeding Program will broaden its reach to ensure holistic support for learners. From previously supporting 10 classes (approximately 250 students) across 8 schools, it will now cover 24 classes (approximately 600 students) across 11 schools. Beneficiary schools include Baclaran Elementary School Unit I, Baclaran Elementary School Central, Cupang Elementary School Main, H. J. Atienza Elementary School, Ilugin Elementary School, Jose Rizal Elementary School, Jose Rizal Memorial School, Pedro Guevara Elementary School, Rosalie Rendu Development Center, Rosauro Almario Elementary School, and San Joaquin Elementary School. This expansion ensures that more young learners receive both the nourishment and educational foundation they need to thrive.
Dedication to Progress and Service
This expanded partnership embodies JVRF’s belief: that the progress and development of the nation is realized through unity, cooperation, and service. By scaling up literacy and feeding initiatives, JVRF is contributing more than just resources; it is fostering self-reliance, creating opportunities for growth, and investing in the future of young learners and educators who hold the key to our nation’s future.
As JVRF and BINHI move forward together, this collaboration stands as a testament to their shared vision: a generation of children empowered by both knowledge and well-being.
